I use integrative massage techniques, to offer the most effective massage treatment for pain, injuries and relaxation. I love to offer my clients a space to relax, to breathe deeply and to become more aware of their bodies. I believe that awareness is the first step toward healing.

I offer the following modalities:

Swedish Relaxation Massage: is what most people think of when they think of massage. The massage can be light or deep, depending on your needs and comfort level. The major strokes are long and circular. Swedish Massage is good for reducing muscle aches, improving circulation and reducing stress.

Deep Tissue (Connective Tissue): works to separate the muscle from the connective tissues of the body (the ligaments, tendons and muscle casings, which ‘connect’ one type of tissue to another). When these structures get sticky and less elastic deep tissue bodywork helps to return these tissues to a supple, fluid condition.

Sports Massage: Each sport has its own characteristics and sports massage is geared at helping athletes manage their training routines, performance and recovery. Pre-Event, post-event and training massage each have their own focus to help you achieve your best results and avoid injuries.

Trigger Point Therapy (NMT): This modality uses soft-tissue manipulation to balance the body’s central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. The goal is to relieve pain and dysfunction by removing the underlying cause. NMT releases spasms that cause referred pain and restores postural alignment and flexibility. Trigger Point Therapy addresses the ‘knots’ or triggerpoints in the muscles that are often the cause of pain. Triggerpoints often refer pain to other areas. It is used for relief of pain and stress.
